Meng Zhang

Assistant Professor

Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology

The Scripps Research Institute

Meng received her PhD in Biophysics from the Ohio State University studying ultrafast dynamics of photoreceptors using femtosecond laser spectroscopy. She completed her postdoctoral training with Professor Xiaowei Zhuang at Harvard University to develop and apply genomic-scale single cell imaging methods to study the molecular and cellular architecture of the brain, the cell-type-specific cell-cell interaction network, and the functional annotations of the cells in the brain.

We are hiring at all levels!

We are looking to build an interdisciplinary group of scientists with a diverse set of backgrounds and expertise.
